Well I decided to play around this morning. I held my digital camera up to the eyepiece 25mm@48X of the 8 incher.
Once again it's very difficult to be still when zoomed (35X or so) in, the motion blur is evidence. The picture was exported from the video using Lamedows Movie Maker, so there is another notch of "crummification".
No way in hell does the following picture represent the quality of the scope... OBVIOUSLY!
It later dawned on me that I could have adjusted the focuser, but then again it was arduous enough just trying to keep Saturn on the LCD.
