Hello Fellow Starnuts,

The cool air finally blew through Chicago this week.
I brought out my little 90mm refractor this Sunday to catch the fleeting summer skies and a glimpse of the ever shrinking moon.

With my 3.2MP digital camera, took a shot of Mare Crisium. Looks like an ugly eyeball of a crater.

Can't wait for the skeeters to rest for the year.

Speaking of merskeeters... West Nile virus is going around bad, and they were everywhere a few weeks ago. I hope they become extinct!

A skeeter serves no purpose at all! OFF spray makes me sick, I hate that smell!

I also hope clouds become extinct too, because I sure haven't been getting to watch for satellites, but I have been sleeping a lot
