The 2008 Midwest Astro-Imaging Conference (MAIC), hosted by AstroPhoto Insight Magazine, will take place on June 20-21, 2008 at the NIU Hoffman Estates Meeting Center, conveniently located only 20 minutes away from Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. Be sure to mark your calendar for this second annual conference.
The 2008 Conference will include:
Speakers signed up so far include Jay GaBany, Jim Burnell, Ken Crawford, Mike Unsold, Robert Nemiroff, Warren Keller, Robert Reeves and Neil Fleming.
Tele Vue and Canon have reserved a space at the conference to show off their latest products. Orion Telescopes & Binoculars has donated a Starshoot Camera with filter wheel and filters ($900 value) for a door prize. We are soliciting numerous other vendors to participate.
Frequent conference updates will be posted on the MWAIC Yahoo group. Also, early bird discounts will only be announced on that Yahoo group and offered for a short period of time.
