I managed to get out Monday night for about an hour, before the heat and humidity forced me to go back inside. Here are two shots with the camera handheld up to the Series 5000 26mm plossl that came with the scope:
Even though I was viewing through a milky white sky, the Meade 12" LX200R gave off some pretty sharp views. I was shocked that they were as sharp as they were. Unfotunatley, I didn't get a lot of time with the new scope, so I'll have to wait until I can get it out for a longer time and give a better report on how well it operates. So far, I can say that the optics are crystal clear and very sharp.
