It finally wasn't either a) biting cold outside, b) incredibly cloudy, or c) a busy night so I figured I'd get out my digital camera and give a few shots a try. Unfortunately, the moon happens to be out so they're not the darkest, but it was my first chance to play with the camera and taking astrophotography shots.
All of these are 10 second exposures on the tungsten settings, with no postprocessing.
