Hey y'all

This is my first post and I figured this would be as good a place as any to introduce myself...

My name's Richard and I live in lovely Luton, England. I'm actually emigrating to the US (Oklahoma) next month so I'm looking forward to seeing some truly dark skies there. My fiancee lives there - there are some lovely skies a few miles out of town, but we're also considering Arizona as the Dark Sky Paradise in the US.

Anyway, it's kinda late here (nearly 2am) and I just wanted to stick my head around the door to say hello. I signed up a few days back but had a few probs accessing the board, but it seems fine now

I am pleased to see you here after your initial difficulties. Sometimes the servers get bogged down. I think it gets effected by the influence out of the black hole in Cygnus.

I'm working on a map where we can pin point our locations worldwide. When I'm ready, I'll send out a notice for updated information, but it would be cool to pin England for a Chicago Astronomer! Even if you are coming to Oklahoma. And OK skies should be dark too!
