NOTICE:

Join the Chicago Astronomers this Saturday, 21 October for some Lunar and planetary observation at the 606 Trail.
New date, due to teaching duties and poor weather on Friday evening.

We will enjoy sharing views of Jupiter, Saturn and a nice crescent Moon. Be there on a Autumn evening with telescopes and the cosmos.

The weather may be an issue tonight for our observational session. I will make a GO/NO GO decision by 5:00 pm Saturday. If we reschedule, the rain date for this event will be on 04 November 2023, but stay tuned for updates.

Tonight's Chicago Astronomer Session is Rescheduled

Sorry Kids...



I have Rescheduled our Chicago Astronomer Public Observation event of tonight, Saturday, 21 October 2023. A No-Go status in effect.



A massive cloud system is pouring in from Canada and won't clear our area till much later this evening. Too chancy to set-up telescopes for our fans.



We will probably conduct the make-up session next Saturday evening...stay tuned for updates.
