The Chicago Astronomer will participate in the 606 Bloomingdale Block party festivities this Saturday with solar observation, (weather permitting) and astronomy chat with trail visitors.
NOTE:
The usual Chicago Astronomer public observation site at the Exelon Observatory/Ridway Ave will be under construction for the summer. We have relocated during this time to the Julia de Burgos park, a short distance to the east at Kimball ave..
A cute little park, sight angles are good and will conduct our sessions there till at least September 2017, returning to our spot at Ridgeway Ave. (Participating Astronomers, plenty of parking on Kimball and Sawyer Avenues)
Stop by and visit the Chicago Astronomer and enjoy the festivities on this warm (and hopefully clear) Saturday.
