Brief Solo Lunar session
08 July 2014
I really hate to lose a clear night and the Moon always beckons to spend time with her. I thought I would shoot up to a clear area by the lakefront - away from the crowds and do a quick imaging session...
Setting up the CG-5 along with the C102mm Refractor, I attached the Canon T5i and started capturing some decent lunar shots...
For Astrophotography, I appreciate the articulating screen on the T5i and the camera does a nice job in capturing. I still need to do a serious deep sky imaging session with my fellow Chicago Astronomers sometime soon.
Nothing fancy or complicated this session, as I only had about 90 minutes to shoot, but it was a nice time to spend with Selene.

Easy on the wallet, both Chicago Astronomer Rich and I really like this refractor. Great for a finder/tracking scope, riding on top of the C11, it's also light, easy to take apart...I use it on various mounts and it does a nice job at astro imaging.
