It was such a great day, that a good friend of mine invited me to go to the zoo with her. So off we went to Brookfield Zoo for a short romp thru the animal world.
Early on, the sun was rather hot, so I donned my shirt over my head Sultan style...
I think I would have made a good Sultan with a sizable Harem. Kept me rather cool while waiting for the tram ride.
The entire visit was nice, but what was facinating were the primates. Being one myself, I was fixated on the facial expressions of the beasts and the relationship of Mother and child...
The other apes, and monkeys were putting a good territorial show as well...
But this next one of the elder Gorilla sent chills, as he gazed toward me in steely eyes and a not too pleasant stare...
Eats at the Zoo was quite expensive! A $3.50 Hotdog and $3.50 bottle of pop...but it's also expensive to maintain and feed the animals, so I really wasn't too put off by it. Better here than at other venues.
I thank my fellow primates for the great photo ops!...
