I think Joe should be a shoe-in for Adler president for the following reasons.
1) Has a better scope than the Adler
2) Has more Twitter followers than the Adler
3) Google searches for Chicago Astronomy in Google ranks him #2. Adler is #3
4) He has a cult like following across the country
5) Likes and endorses Pie
6) Does more for true hands-on astronomy in one month than the Adler does in a year
7) Has a crew of top notch astronomers that already work at the Adler
Am I missing something here?
