I came here from the Telescope Junkie forum, where Joe posted a reply to a thread about the 90mm Meade 8.8 refractor. I had to see what he had done with it.

Well, I am semi-retired and get along by collecting rent from tenants on my property, of which I have too much. If you have clicked on "my kit" below, you already know I am a telescope junkie. I live in one of the worst places in the world to be am astronomer, so my fix comes from futzing around with optical hardware.

I do set up whenever conditions allow, and host Saturday Stars, a public outreach on clear Saturdays.

Hello again. Yeah, you have a few scopes!

I fail to see how your skies can be worse than ours, but I don't like long distance arm wrestling, especially with people who are handy with power tools.

I didn't notice those little links in your sig, so thanks for pointing them out. Your horizon shot is gorgeous, so hopefully that brings you some relief.

Sadly, no. I am usually too busy to document them.

I usually set up at least 3 or 4 scopes and use the green laser pointer on the go-to to turn the other scopes to the same target.
