With April being designated as World Astronomy Month, I was wondering if anybody is planning events for it. I tried to have an observation at my school last year for the 100 Hours of Astronomy, but was clouded out. I’m not in school right now, and don’t have any obvious venues to host a public observation. I’m not a member of any astronomical societies either, so I am looking for any advice or experiences that might help a lone wolf such as myself host a successful public observations. Thanks.
