For Christmas, among my other presents, was a package with Starry Night v 4.5 in it.
This is such a fantastic software program.
This is such a step up from "The Sky - Student Edition" I received with my Orion XT8.
It took me awhile to get the hang of playing with it.
I still have a lot to discover with this.
The graphics are nice. The descriptions of the objects is so much more than I had with The Sky.
When I'm up to speed with this version I'm going to upgrade to v 5.0.

Hey Congrats DeWayne,

It is a good planetarium program. I have been content with the free ones...Cartes DeCiel, HKsky and Stellarium and SkyOrb. I'm am quite pleased with them, provide great graphics and delivers what I expect.

I would like to compare Starry Nights and see the differences. Perhaps a software review is in order.

Now DeWayne...go find a comet for us, eh?
