Just wanted to inform you of the new San Antonio, Tx based 'Southwest' chapter of the Chicago Astronomer. We relocated here this past weekend 10/02 and so far the skies have been clear. I will say that the lack of light pollution has certainly improved the night sky. I haven't had a chance to break out the scope yet, but I'm hoping to get some free time in the near future.

Great that you have settled in Texas, and now we have THREE, count 'em, three Chicago Astronomers residing in Texas. Warmer nights...always desired!

I will be anticipating your posts, and your first observational imaging from your CCD set up.

Glad to have shared Adler events with you, had laughs and pleased everything went well...and you must post here often!
