I'm looking into buying a new telescope and I'm considering either an 8" Schmidt-Newtonian or an 8" Schmidt Cassegrain.
Mechanics, focal length, price, and magnification aside, is there any real difference in image quality? I plan to use it to view and photograph deep sky objects.
