Some while ago I considered posting this, but did not.
I do frequent a few websites related to astronomy, and space news. One of those sites is Space.com.
In the several months leading up to the launch, I read countless articles written by reporter Tariq Malik. I would closely estimate that 95% of every article written by him mentioned that the crew of columbia had been killed or something similiar. As if it's not already apparent, I think everyone that was ever going to know about the columbia disaster knew about it within the hour after it happened. It really chaps my <you know what>. I don't think it's very nice. It's as if he making fun of the tradgedy. Should a conversation with him ever happen, I'm sure he'd attempt to defend himself by saying something along the lines of "I'm just reporting the news".
I don't see the point of constantly mentioning it, we all know what happened. I don't need to read about it every day. It's just completely retarded to mention it every article, in my opinion.
This is all my doing, no one else here should be blamed for my opinions. I simply just don't care what anyone thinks about what I say, especially a numbnuts editor for a two bit website that has spyware.
Come on people. If you can do a better job than NASA then hop to it.
