Geez, what a crappy night. Hotter than s**t and a billion mosquitoes. I stayed outside for about one minute, than said "no way" to that. Here's a few of the shots I took. It's hazy out, so they aren't too clear.

Dispite the haze of a hot August night, they are still nice.

I made no attempt this evening to sneek a peek at the paring, and you are a brave soul!

No doubt on them 'thar' 'moskeeters'. I was playing with a tripod for my camera earlier, and focused on Jupiter, and the Moon too. It was real crappy out.


It's clear for the moment so I'm trying to scope out a few satellites.

Being as how there is a pond about 20 feet from my yard, and i don't like bug spray, you can guess my viewing was not going to be very long. Next time I'm going to Raid the area for about ten minutes. Then maybe I'll get about five minutes of view time.

Oh well. Give me the cold of winter. It's more fun and the skies are better

Winter sucks, I don't like the cold. Plus it's just flat out depressing, in my opinion.

I will be looking forward to clearer skies come this winter though. I'm sure sick of the clouds.

Give me the fall anytime. The summer stuff is still out and you also get the winter goodies all in the same night.

I like the crisp night air, not cold yet and the deep Autumn skies.

Yes..the fall is my favorite... ;D
