Early Morning Lunar Captures
While out on early pre-dawn adventures, I spotted the crescent Moon hanging beautifully in the eastern sky out the passenger side window. As I always have the Canon S3 in the car, I took some time to image a few shots.
Using a polarizer filter, it brings out the deep turquoise blue of the early morning sky.
Using various settings and all in full 12x optical zoom, the many images makes for a nice montage of lunar images.
Unaware at the time of the star at the lower right, this is a nice framed duo.
The skies are clear presently and going to attempt another imaging session with a even thinner crescent!...
