Hi Fellow Starnuts,

This is my first attempt in posting pics.

I took this photo using a 3.2MP digital camera mounted on a 6inch reflector using a Scopetronix universal adapter. I used 7.5mm eyepiece to project image to camera.

I think it is a picture of Plato and Mt Pico. Can anyone confirm? Thanks,

You are correct. That is Plato, and Mons Pico.

Did you notice that your picture, and my picture (another thread) are almost next to each other. If I had moved a bit right or you had move a bit left our pictures would tie in together ...lol

I would like to get more pictures of craters just for fun. Now is a good time to do it, unfortunately I don't think it's going to clear up for awhile. Bummer...

Now..I think what you did to Bill's Lunar shot is quite cool, and the mosaic idea a great one!... ;D

We need to establish some rules...like size of area submission, annotations, magnification etc...

Do you want to create the mosaic or should I?

It's cloudy... clouds suck! Too much haze in front of the Moon for me to wrestle with my telescope tonight.

I think the mosaic idea would be fun. We'll discuss it later, if you want.

As for the avatar, a maximum limit of 160 x 160 or 192 x 192 would be better. 100 x 100 seems to make the pictures I edit appear jagged.
