Hello, friends and relatives in Chicago. I am a new member, Don Craig, Jr., and I would like to let you know about a good book I just wrote! ;D The Andromeda galaxy A Guide to the Universe has just been released and is available on the INTERNET through Lulu.com. I have had the help of astronomers, professors, scientists and educators from all over the world in putting together the most comprehensive book ever written on the Andromeda Galaxy. The 96 page, 8 1/2" X 11" full color book is full of astrophotographs by Rob Gendler, Paolo Candy, Matt Russell, and Daphne and Tony Hallas. It also contains a descriptive history of Andromeda and how it has influenced astronomy. I hope you will get a chance to see a copy of the book. Its available in paperback and hardback editions. Good luck, and clear skies!
Hello Chicago Astronomers! ;D Just a note to let you know that my book is exceeding all expectations. The Andromeda Galaxy A Guide to the Universe is on sale at Lulu.com and would make a terrific holiday gift for your favorite astronomer. The hardback edition would be an excellent coffee-table book for all to see. Thanks for your gracious help in making it a best-seller. Right now, Andromeda is high in the sky about midnight and makes a wonderful subject for binoculars. Clear skies to all.
