The Chicago Astronomer and the Chicago Park District will conduct a joint Star Party:
Wednesday, the 23rd of September 2015 at 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm at the prestigious South Shore Cultural Center - 7059 S. South Shore Dr.
We will have a nice Moon to share with our park visitors, as well as the setting Saturn, bringing in other favorite early autumn targets. The weather looks like it will cooperate for this gathering. We will set-up telescope on the lakeside of the building for great views over the lake.
