To my naked eye, it appeared slightly less than total, but, was a beautiful celestial event.

Thank you for sharing. Where was your observing location? The eclipsed Moon appears to be in a dark sky, whereas in Northwest Indiana, the background sky was bright in morning twilight as the Earth's shadow swept over most of the the Moon's disk.
