I found this quite interesting that Astronomers think that they have found another black hole in the center of our galaxy....

Surprising Second Black Hole Found in Milky Way's Center

Astronomers think they have found a rare if not unique black hole very near the center of the Milky Way. That would make two of the beasts in that part of the galaxy.

The discovery also adds weight to the idea that black holes come in three sizes, essentially small, medium and large.

If the newfound object, catalogued as GCIRS 13E, is indeed a middleweight black hole, it is likely a rare variety, perhaps one of kind, that formed farther out and has been lured to the galactic center. It is now less than 1.5 light-years from the fringes of the known supermassive black hole. That's much closer than our Sun is to the next nearest star.

Orbiting the presumed middleweight are seven stars, each of which in its prime was more than 40 times the mass of the Sun. Even as corpses they contain five to 10 solar masses. The whole setup is racing around the galactic center at 626,300 mph (280 kilometers per second).

Now what I want to know is, if matter is falling into the black holes, it's got to come out somewhere...where are the "White Holes"?

Perhaps in some distant universe, White Holes are vomiting our universe into their domian. I demand the return of all our stuff!

One of the theories is that on the other side of white holes, nothing can move slower than the speed of light.

Yeah, I am surprised to find out that there is a black hole so close to the supermassive one that dominates this galaxy. I didn't think that any other black holes were proven (I use the word proven loosley) to exist yet outside of being the center of other galaxies. Must be some massive stars in that area, if one can collapse on itself like that so close to such a massive black hole already in existence.

Then again, maybe its current location wasn't its original location. Black holes moving about in the galaxy....maybe that is how the supermassive ones form. Not from one massive star imploding on itself but simply several large stars imploding early on in the galaxy's existence, and then coalizing together (if that can happen, no reason why not) until the overall galaxy became stable enough to stop other stars from collapsing on themselves.

That would help explain why you have such a large main sequence of stars and so few tracked massive stars dieing in such a way. Thus, only the massive black holes are formed early on in the development of galaxies.

There may be a few more small black holes near the center of our galaxy, as well as in others, eventually feeding the massive one.

Could just be a spiral thing, too. Not all galaxies could have this phenomena.

When I was younger I wondered if quasars were the white holes you speak of. The energy would come out of them prior to when the matter and energy went in, a reversal in time. The greater the black hole, the further back in time the white hole appears. The ultimate white hole would be the big bang.

Since then we've figured out that energy output of quasars may be fully explained by the mundane matter infalling a blackhole. It's not quite as exciting an idea, but it's got supporting evidence as opposed to wild speculation.

Sometimes I think I ought to be young and stupid again. It was more fun.

Oh, we should have figured on finding these extra black holes in our galactic center. The currently accepted model for the formation of the Milky Way is that we acreated other smaller galaxies to form our own. Most of the other galaxies we see have a black hole in their core, so it is reasonable to suppose that we've had a handfull of them in our own galaxy.

There's an issue of how long these medium-sized black holes can exist in the dense inner galactic community before merging with the central supermassive black hole, but observations indicate that existing streamers of dust, gas, and stars inside the Milky Way are the remanents of recently merged dwarf galaxies. Finding this medium-sized black hole just makes a lot of sense.
