Clear nights during the winter months....mean cold nights...really cold nights. It was about 1 degree above zero during this brief session, but Orion always delivers...
Using the adapted Nikon lens on the T5i body, they work together nicely, but the 70mm/200mm zoom lens slips a bit if aimed up...and I got this neat lookin' Warp Drive effect. That, or we been nudged into a worm hole.
Shooting in the backyard and the front porch, I am amazed how much the Orion area can still punch through the urban sky. And a nice horizontal terminator Moon was enjoyed.
Too cold for anything else....
