We could stop referring to some warriors by the inflammatory term terrorists. Think of them as enemy combatants and deal with them accordingly. Whether they are fighting for a sovereign nation or a general cause should not be seen as a differentiating characteristic. Thinking more rationally may cause us to reconsider who is worth fighting, and who it might be best to ignore.
