[Chicago Astronomer - Astro Joe]

While I enjoy our solid American Astro Publications, (Astronomy/Sky & Telescope)...I like the Canadian magazine "SkyNews". It's pumped out 6 times a year, so they have to load a lot of info into an issue.

This month, they got a good write up on PAN-Starrs and the triple planetary conjunction we just enjoyed at sunset. I know some Chicago Astronomers enjoy reading this...as do I.

I pick up SkyNews when I run across it. Last year, I thought between the three magazines you mentioned, SkyNews had the best pre-transit coverage. And as a bonus, it came with a pair of souvenir eclipse glasses for viewing the transit. Whether SN consistently tops its American rivals, I can't say, but having the best coverage of the most anticipated observation of my lifetime makes it definitely worth a look.
