Solar Imaging via 102mm Celestron Refractor - with five day montage

Some quick solar shots before the Chicago skies clouded over thick using the 102mm refractor and the Scopetronix Maxview II 2" eyepiece and taken with the Samsung Pocket camera...

This first shot was minus any filtering at the eyepiece and just with the full aperture C11 glass Solar filter.

These next ones were taken through the Zhumell Light Pollution filter...

I have been fortunate to have capture almost five consecutive days of solar imaging - from February 13th to the 18th - missing out on February 14th...which was clouded out.

I have compiled a montage of the sessions...

...displaying a nice solar disk rotation and the birth of new Sunspots.

I very much appreciate you doing Satan's work of looking at the Sun, so the rest of us don't have to. I've enjoyed reading, watching the sunspots evolve, and your experiments with filtering. And I haven't had to get cold. Thank you so much, Joe.
