Astronaut Harrison Schmitt and the Chicago Astronomers at the Adler
While working telescopes for members night I discovered that Astronaut & Geologist Dr. Harrison Schmitt was signing his book "Return to the Moon" at the museum.
A very long line of people were before him to autograph his book. But near the end of the evening, he graciously agreed to my request to take a photo with us...

Freindly and personable we had a very short talk. I mentioned that I recently saw and enjoyed "In the shadow of the Moon" film and appreciated his contribution in it. He said that "It was Buzz's movie". In that he wanted to talk more about returning to the Moon, but they cut it out of the movie. He added that it was a good production regardless.
I express my appreciation to fellow Adler Telescope Operator Jeff for staying behind to watch the telescopes while we grabbed this quite cool shot. He got his book signed....
