December 2012 is right around the corner and the rapture is upon us. Those of you who will be lifted to heaven will escape the war between the angels and the demons.

For those of us who will be staying, you know who you are, we will need to dress the part for survival. When the dead rise, and they will, you don't want to get caught in your birthday suit eating a potpie.

What gear will you bring to the party?

It's been rumored that George Romero was contacted by an unknown entity and instructed to make zombie movies. These movies were to teach us how to fend off the zombie apocalypse.

From my research I have coordinated my day 1 rapture wear (Winter Survival).

Clothing Layer one:
* Long Johns - full blown with butt flap



Clothing Layer 2:
* Chainmail - Necessity to prevent accidental scratches and bites while fending off the undead



Clothing Layer 3:
* Leather Duster Jacket - Full length, warm, rain proof and hard to bite through.



Clothing Shoes:
* Army nuts Kickers. Combat proven

I will wear cargo shorts, t-shirt, & flip flops because that's what I usually wear in warmer weather and also just to piss off my podiatrist one last time.
