Adler After Dark
21 October 2011
This month's edition of the Adler After Dark telescope activities were clouded out really bad...and only cursory views at the Chicago skyline through the large windows were possible this evening...as there was a steady light drizzle.
But, Astro Joe makes the best of things and mingled throughout the evening...
The Ghost of Copernicus looked especially well after 400 years.
The visor had become fogged from the many space lovelies....
..and there are space creatures eyeing us here.
The Adler had a costume contest, along with the usual DJ spinning tunes...as well as various demonstrations throughout the building on physics and space themed activities.
Our Adler Telescope crew for the evening...
Scott, Myself, Zoran, Steve, Linda, Devon and Fred.
On to the November AAD.
