Well, Tom, if that one is almost too big for you, I will offer up my own meager attempt at imaging our Milky Way. I took this last September during the annual Cathedral Gorge Star Party hosted by the Las Vegas Astronomical Society. It is a photostitched panoramic of a small section of the sky stretching from the southwest horizon up to just a bit past the zenith. The skies were pretty dark there. However, even at almost 200 miles away, Las Vegas still spoiled a portion of the sky with its ungodly amount of light pollution.
I just uploaded a larger version of the image. Linked in my post above. Depending on your browser, you may have to click on the image to enlarge it. It's still nothing like the "largest ever photo" linked in the original post, but oh well.
