Hi Tom,

That is pretty intense class!
8 classes x 3 hours = 24 hours to learn AP.
Good stuff: DSLR, CCD and webcam imaging.

Wish the Adler had something similar

I too wish the Adler has something like that because I am driving all the way from Chicago to these classes but I am looking forward to attending. 8x3hrs will be over before soon.

Yay! More classes will be added if this class has filled up, so anybody interested should still try to sign up. The $100 fee also includes a one year membership to Calumet Astronomical Society. Sooner or later, I'm going to sign up for this myself, but I'm not in a hurry. We should be out Saturday putting the finishing touches on the Hunter Astrophoto Lab this Saturday. The telescope is installed, and will be dedicated Memorial Day. I'm hoping to be there when it has "first light.*"

*The telescope itself is not new, but is being re-purposed for the astrophoto lab.
