Hi gang.
Aside from the fact that it sounds crazy, opinions on the 6" scope here please! Since I travel so much, and don't expect to stop any time soon, I very attracted to the extreme portability of this gal. A much nicer scope that my 4.5SLT and much lighter and more portable! This thing is smaller than just the SLT scope, not to mention the tripod.

So evaluations are welcome please. I am ignorant of much about it...

Good thing is I already have the eyepieces, so not an issue there unless I want to upgrade at some point. (I'm looking at you, starter 1.25" Celestron 25mm!)

Orange or red mount would be hot, too!! They are truly things of beauty, or even sculpture as somebody says on there.

Well yeah! The whole point of it is portability, and I have a 4 and 9.25, so a 6" seems fit perfectly in that niche. Also, since it would be my travel scope, shaving a few lbs seems the way to go with it.

Guess I could be talked up though without too much arm twisting. Where are we going and when?

This is a very different design from anything I'm used to, so input on that end especially welcomed!

Is this the scope? I have to say, I'm not a fan of their spelling and grammar, but that can be forgiven if they know how to make a telescope. Is this a Hoosier-built telescope? If so, that might explain the spelling errors...

Seriously, I have never seen a telescope like this. It carries a steep price tag for basically a 6" Dobsonian, but if you can swing it, and must have a travel scope, go ahead and pump that money into the Hoosier economy.

Ok. Look, cuz I don't even know where to start to try to assemble my dream scope for less than $4k over here. Too many GD choices.
