Really great thread trying to track down an optical anomaly on a recently cleaned and modified scope. Like a great Holmes mystery finally solved with a huge group effort. Learned a lot. If we had any, inveterate tinkerers would most likely really enjoy this thread. <p looks askance as Astro Joe>

And yet, he still wanted to glue it again to the back of his primary.

It was an interesting read and makes me re-think about installing a mirror stop/lock on mine.

Yeah, I saw that too. Am unclear on what he finally did in the end after getting the epoxy off.

The debate about it was great to read and much food for thought down the road.
