I think that it is great that we finally have some idea about the vanishing head ridges on certain Klingons, and that Enterpise had the chance to explain it before ending the series. A bit of Eugenics, a bit of Soone...a nice weave.

I recall in DS9, Whorf responded to a question on why when they time traveled to Kirk's Enterprise, the Klingons appeared human-like. Whorf responded " We don't like to talk about the period in Klingon history.

I think the explanation is plausible and can accept it as trek cannon.

With this latest episode in where we discover the origin of the ridgeless Klingon, I also noticed something different.

They are using the partial zoom in camera pan that we see so overly used in NYPD Blue and the like. I know that type of camera work occupies and entertains the simple mind, hence the great overabundance, but here in Enterprise the level is not so blatent. It was used in scenes that were dramatic. But I hope they leave it subtle.

I am pleased that we now know the answer to the Klingon area of wonder. I had wished that this encarnation of Trek would have spent more time on mainstream storylines and not so much on the side trips that really do not add to the story.
