Clear sky clock predicts very good conditions tonight.

Planning to bring the 10in light bucket.

Sorry I got your phone call too late, as I would have joined you Tuesday evening for some good solid cold weather observing. I might have even brought out the 8" dob I recently won, (more on that later).

What I did do this evening was to do a systematic exposure comparison with the new Powershot S3. I will do a complete post on the effort, but I started exposing Orion from ISO 80/f3.2/1" all the way to ISO 800/3.2/15"...and every exposure setting inbetween. The results are quite remarkable...
