7:00 Black Holes! A Nasa Nightsky Network Presentation
7:30 Darren Drake, "The How-To of Backyard Astronomy and Basics of Choosing your own Telescope". Mr. Drake is an Astronomy Instructor/Planetarium show operator at Cernan Space Center at Triton College. His presentation will also include homemade astro-videos taken with his 18" telescope!
8:30 - 11:00 Stargazing on the Hill. Telescopes set-up on the south lawn (weather permitting). Highlights for the evening include Saturn, Jupiter, Globular Clusters in Hercules, Double-Stars in Ursa Major, the Ring Nebula.
