Adler ups admission prices
The Adler Planetarium is raising its general admission for most adults about 43 percent -- increasing for non-city residents from $7 to $10 beginning today. Adult Chicago residents will pay $8. City kids will pay $5 -- up a buck -- and non-city children's admission will be $6.
Adler cited increased operating costs, including insurance, in explaining the rate increase. The Adler last raised fees five years ago.
