I've recently added the DeepSkyLog observing log software to my Skyinsight.net website.

DeepskyLog is an online application that lets you keep track of your deepsky observations. DeepskyLog can log deepsky observations of multiple observers, sharing observations between them. Therefore, it's ideally suited for amateur astronomy clubs who want to have an overview of all the active observers in their community. DeepskyLog allows you to add different telescopes and locations. You can easily add comments, observing conditions or a drawing to your observation too. Logging observations has never been as easy with the convenient user interface. Currently it contains the Saguaro's extensive Deepsky Database so you have more than 10,000 objects at your fingertips. Additional object can also be added. With the built in queries on objects, you can make your own deepsky observing lists too!

I invite the Chicago Astronomers to add your observations. You needn't be an expert observer to use it. Even if you use another resource such as software or even this online forum, I ask that you take a moment and copy those observations into DeepSkyLog. I think it would be interesting to see the observations over time.

I think that this is pretty cool.

I have just registered and awaiting confimation. It will be nice to have a detailed observational account organized.

I just approved your registration.

I didn't write the software but have the developer's ear incase you have suggestions on improvements. Also, this is a v1.0 release so it may contain bugs. If anyone encounters any, just let me know and I'll work with the developer to resolve them.
