Morphed Animation of Comet Hartley
This is the best animation of the Comet Hartley pass by by yet....

It is now speculated that the comet is indeed, two objects - not just one. Either two objects slammed into each other...or more valid...that it is separating from centrifugal force. The smoothness in-between the nodules leads astronomers to believe that it is being stretched apart. And being that comets appear to be loosely aggregate of material....most likely correct.
One of the next exciting missions will be to land a probe on a comet soon. This will be a great mission to follow.
