I received this today in regards to an upcoming Expo. It looks good, so I therefore post here for all our members to act upon...

Dear Astronomy Club Members,
On Sunday, December 5th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Shutan will be
hosting
a Digital Photo and Astronomy EXPO at the Lincolnshire Marriott
Resort.
We’re excited to have representatives from Celestron, Meade, and
TeleVue
attending. This will be the first time these companies have
demonstrated
their products in our area in over 10 years! Representatives from
camera
companies such as Nikon, Canon, Pentax, Casio, Kodak, and others will
also be there.
Admission to the EXPO is FREE. Parking at the Marriott is FREE.
There will also be four (4) tech seminars during the day; two from
Nikon
Digital, one from Meade on their Deep Sky Imager, and one from TeleVue
on Choosing Eyepieces. SEATING IS LIMITED at the seminars- advance
ticket purchase ($10 per seminar) is highly recommended -- plus,
advance
ticket purchases are redeemable IN FULL towards merchandise the day of
the event.
Everything we carry will either be sale priced or include free
accessories. Every Telescope. Every Accessory. Every Camera. Every
Lens.
Every Tripod. EveryTHING!
We have many door prizes to raffle off as well ... VALUABLE items
like a
Nikon Digital camera, Casio LCD television, Pentax Binoculars,
Celestron
filter set ... even a TeleVue Nagler eyepiece worth $280!
No purchase necessary for the raffles. Somebody’s gotta win. Maybe
