A Short History of Nearly Everything

I listened to this audiobook last year for the first time. I say "for the first time" because I really enjoyed it and have listened to it twice since. It covers a lot of ground across various sciences such as astronomy, physics, chemestry, geology just to name a few. It's written for the everyday person, not for scientists, which I appreciate.
I've listened to the abridged and later the unabridged. The unabridge seems to go too deep into some areas but has some more interesting facts and stories. Watching Nova Origins: Earth is Born this week, some of the facts from the book were discussed bringing the book back into my thoughts. While some people criticize the book because it contains a few factual errors (not exactly sure what), I'd strongly recommend it.
This book turned me into a Bill Bryson fan. I enjoy his style. His other books range in topics, usually about society.
