Twas the night before christmas and under the tree was a 20 " dobsonian waiting for me A niose of tiny hooves woke me I realized Just a dream But I ran to the window and through up the sash I realize it's new moon DSO's glowing I dress up warm while making a mental list M42 43 41 and some unknown nebulus mist Downstairs I hear a noise what could it be Upon further investigation I see Santa struggleing He asks for my help He says that these 20" mirrors are quite heavy As he drove out of sight I could hear him exclaim If your watching the moon In an hour or so An event you may never see again It's me occulting the moon One more thing he said driving toward space Next year if your good I will bring your focuser and secondary some eye pices too
Santa has a twisted sense of humor
2" 4" 6" 8 any size scope makes the moon look great
