Sorry sky lovers, but this weather system over us now has forced this session at the 606 Trail to relocate to the Mozart Park Field House, where we will discuss Meteors, Comets & Asteroids with our guests. If it clears, we can set-up telescopes to catch the Moon and share views.
We will start at 7:30 pm for an hour presentation on how space debris puts on a show...and how the potential of a hit to Earth is quite possible.

Join the Chicago Astronomer crew as we return to the 606 Bloomingdale Trail for our monthly Star Party, sharing the urban sky with out trail visitors.
We will have Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, Venus and the Moon to explore and marvel at the cosmos from 7:30 pm till 10:00 pm. This is a free and family friendly event.

If raining, the Chicago Astronomer crew will relocate to Mozart Park, (close by), for a indoor lecture on Meteors, Comets and Asteroids. Stay tuned here and on our C.A. social media feeds for updates and confirmations...
We will set up telescopes at our observation site at the Exelon Observatory (1802 N. Ridgeway Ave) and guide all sky lovers across the ecliptic.
