Canon T3i stock DSLR and Canon T3i full spectrum modified DSLR + coma corrector on 6" Astrotech imager and Celestron AVX mount. Autoguided with SSAG and PHD.

Interesting color variations from the different filters. You mentioned using 2 T3i's one modded and the other not. Which is which?





Neon 3, Sulfur 2 and Oxygen 1 - modded T3i
Helium 1, Helium 2 - stock T3i

Results with Oxygen 1 at 630 nm and Sulfur 2 at 672 nm with the stock T3i would have been poor because of its low sensitivity to these emission lines. I don't see how the stock T3i could have picked up the Neon 3 emission(uv) because of its internal uv/ir blocking filter!

All exposures are 10 min. or less.
