The average delay in moonrise or moonset compared to the previous day is 50:28 minutes & seconds. But this can be quite variable, mainly depending on the Moon’s place in the zodiac and the observer's latitude. Other factors include the point in the 18.6-year nodal cycle, and the Earth-Moon distance which affects angular speed.
I’ve calculated the extremes as viewed from the Adler Planetarium during 1900 through 2099. A posted date is given in the standard astronomical format, while the difference from the event time of the previous day is given in minutes & seconds.
