I'm not gonna get too excited, because we all know how these things tend to end up. However, I will be outside of the city for work that night and have been dying to do some photography & observing after this awful winter.
I'm going to be right next to the Arie Crown Forest in LaGrange when I finish work at 8pm that night. Is anyone interested in joining me there or at a nearby spot that might be good? I see some other forest preserves and parks nearby, I'll research those if I can find the time. I will probably only have my camera and tripod.
Arie Crown Forest. I had the wrong park name posted earlier but Arie Crown is the one. It's open til 11. Anyone interested in joining can give me a text the day of and I'll update you as the day goes on if it looks like it will work. The event I'm working is a wedding, but hopefully they won't have the park closed off for it. I think the venue is just beside it.
I might have a coworker along whose mount I am going to set up for the first time.
