The 850 nm NIR(near infrared)filter blocks all visible light
Orion Nebula
10 minutes and 17 seconds at ISO 100(auto-guided with SSAG and PhD)
The Flame Nebula
6 minutes and 6 seconds at ISO 1600(auto-guided with SSAG and PhD) I took several pics and no Horsehead!
Canon 10D dslr full spectrum modified with 850nm NIR filter attached
Astrotech 6" imaging newtonian on Celestron AVX eq mount
No coma corrector used.
