I Often wondered what this creature really looked like on "The Outer Limits"
The Original Outer Limits TV show was a great series. Stories well before their time, they introduced a great many creatures that were innovative and unique.
One being this creature from the 1963 episode " Galaxy Being "...
A creature has been brought to Earth via a small radio station that kicks up it's wattage - unknowingly disrupting microwave communications that a radio engineer has established. What the director obviously has done, is to invert the creature image to a negative...making it more mysterious and "Radio Active".
This creature was one of my favorites as a child...and viewing this episode over the decades, I often wondered what the costume looked like before inverting the image to a negative. Well, doing some inverting myself, here is what I got...
Looks like a rubber suit and mask...coated with Vaseline and giving it a uber-shiny surface...seams showing and all....
The eyes are scary in either positive or negative...!
